When you cancel or miss your appointment without providing a 48-hour notice, we're often unable to fill that appointment time.  This reason is why Lux Massage and Life Spa requires an active (non prepaid payment method-DEBIT/CREDIT) to be placed on file in order to secure any appointment request. When you request an appointment and it is confirmed, that's your time and no one else can take your requested appointment day and time. 

 Lux Massage & Life Spa has prohibited (meaning we do NOT accept) the use of any prepaid payment methods (DEBIT/CREDIT CARDS) for securing appointments requests, and/or any kind of transaction effective May 1, 2023. [1] This decision was made  to combat and protect our clients from the increasing risk of identity theft, wire fraud, and bank fraud associated with prepaid payment methods. The business has implemented  payment method authorization forms (legal document stating you are the authorized owner of the payment method you're manually inputting on the client scheduling portal, or have expressed consent from the authorized card holder)  that is mandatory for all clients. This is our continued and committed effort to protect our clients and the business from unauthorized fraudulent transactions or false claims against the business.

 [1]To make any payments besides cash, clients will have to use authorized payment methods that are allowed by the business. This change is in line with the Federal Trade Commission's regulations on telemarketing fraud, which prohibit certain payment methods, including remotely created payment orders and checks, in both inbound and outbound telemarketing.

 [1]In case of any errors or mistakes in the payment, such as incorrect deductions or credits, clients can make use of the IRS's Form 1040-X to correct, change, or amend their previously filed tax forms. [2] The form can also be used to claim a carryback due to a loss or unused credit. Electronic filing of the form is an option, and direct deposit of refunds may be requested for forms filed in 2021 or later. [2]

 If you arrive late to your appointment, unfortunately, that time will be deducted from the service you scheduled. We cannot, and will not punish another client for you being late to your appointment. If you're more than 15 minutes late without directly calling Lux Massage & Life Spa and verbally speaking with staff, your appointment will be forfeited/canceled, and you will be considered and liable as a "no-call/no-show" per  late arrival/cancellation policy. A cancellation fee of the retail price of service/s and add on service/s you scheduled will be charged to the non prepaid payment method on file. 

If you know you're going to be late, call us and if possible,  keep your existing appointment with little to no loss of time to your massage. We will do our best to work with you. However, we do not prorate massages or services, so in the event, you're running late and know you're going to be late, call us to let us know you're coming still and we'll do our best to work with you to salvage the remaining time left of your scheduled appointment.We're human and understand things happen. With proper time respectful communication, we will attempt to work with you and find a solution when possible. 

How much is a massage?

Pricing is based on the Therapist's experience and the modality, as well as  length of massage being rendered. If you're coupon shopping or looking for the "cheapest" place to go, that isn't Lux Massage & Life Spa. If you're looking for the best massage from highly experienced THERAPISTS that will actually make a difference in your life, you've come to the right place! Our therapist's experience is a mix of education and real life experience with clients. You will not find an unlicensed, uneducated Therapist in our establishment.

We are NPPES NPI recognized and certified. However, we're diligently working with several government and insurance companies to be able to accept all forms of insurance in the near future.

Please keep in mind that it is important for the individual receiving massage services to complete their phealth intake forms for their safety. We understand that people have intentions when they want to surprise someone with a gift like this. However we respect that some individuals prefer to keep their health concerns private due to reasons. We would never want anyone to feel ashamed or embarrassed, about any challenges they may be facing which could impact their ability to receive massage services. is within 48 hours of the scheduled time, you, (the scheduler) may face penalties for violating our cancellation policy.

Please keep in mind that it is important for the individual receiving massage services to complete their pehrsonal health intake forms for their safety. We understand that people have great intentions when they want to surprise someone with a gift like this. However, we respect that some individuals prefer to keep their health concerns private due to personal reasons. We would never want anyone to feel ashamed or embarrassed, about any challenges they may be facing which could impact their ability to receive massage services.

If someone has cancer or any other immune compromising illnesses they need to get approval from their doctor prior to scheduling a massage to ensure that it doesn't harm their health or the well being of others.

The intake process is required for all clients. Prior, to your arrival it is essential that you completed the process. Our company operates in a paperless manner, which means that if you choose not to finish the process before coming there is a possibility of forfeiting your appointment or having your appointment request denied. To ensure measures against COVID and other health and safety risks,  as liability concerns related to clients and staff health and safety,identity theft or fraud we do not provide devices for completing the intake process at this time. 

If you choose not to complete the process or if you don't complete it at all your entire appointment will be forfeited. Your request, for an appointment will be denied. The regular policy, for cancellations will be applied.

As a business that values transparency and authenticity in our changing world, the policies we have, in place are shaped by the years of experience and the thousands of clients we have had the privilege to serve. Our main focus is helping individuals with their life goals and overall well being encompassing aspects of life such as personal relaxation, taking a break from daily routines, addressing family matters, and healing from past traumas. We never intended to establish policies. In fact we see ourselves as consumers like our clients. What sets us apart from other businesses is our commitment to providing you with genuine, authentic interactions and experiences. We do not put on pretenses, engage in multi tier advertising. Without you, Lux would not exist. Therefore we are not exempt from adhering to any policies we have put in place.

In the event that we make a mistake we take responsibility, and accountability to rectify the situation. This may include offering services or refunds if you have made a purchase, with us or extending your session time.
