We understand that our clients have lives and busy schedules. In our effort to make things more convenient, we've introduced a booking process that shows available dates and times to accommodate your busy schedule.
It's important to note that you'll need to provide a non-,prepaid payment method when reserving your desired appointment date and time. This payment method will only be charged if you don't adhere to the cancellation policy or if you're a "no call" or "no show" for your scheduled appointment. This policy applies to all appointment requests. Additionally, if the payment method you're using isn't registered to you by the card issuer, please complete the intake process for added protection against identity theft and fraud. For information, about this policy and other policies please refer to our FAQ page.
PREPARING FOR YOUR MASSAGE:
Before scheduling your massage session, it's important to consider a few factors to ensure that it is the perfect time for you.
Please reschedule your appointment if:
In the days leading up, to your scheduled massage appointment remember to stay properly hydrated by drinking plenty of water. It's advisable not to eat before your massage session. Prior, to your appointment we kindly request that you take a shower as it helps you relax and enter a relaxed state more quickly. Additionally it provides protection against germs like COVID 19, or any other contaminants that you may encounter in public spaces. Please remember that we're taking extra measures to sanitize all therapy rooms, facilities, linens and towels due to the global health situation.
Scientific research supports the notion that showering before your appointment aids in achieving a state while also showing consideration for your therapist through good hygiene practices.
Make sure to allocate time, for arrival and relaxation. If you rush, and arrive stressed, it might take longer for you to reach a relaxed mindset.
HEALTH HISTORY:
Initial appointments involve a process which includes discussing your past and present health history, as well as any treatment goals you may have. We send you the health history questionnaire via email, or text ahead of time so that you can complete it before your visit.
Typically when discussing your health history you might be asked about aspects such, as your conditions, specific concerns you have and the level of pain or discomfort you experience on good and bad days. It's important to mention what helps alleviate the pain and what worsens it. (Remember to inform your therapist if you're pregnant, and or labeled as a high risk pregnancy, immunocompromised, or have any other medical conditions before your appointment. These factors may affect the procedure you wish to undergo and could potentially limit, or restrict the therapies in your situation.)

Have you received a tattoo within the last 30 days?
If yes, please reschedule your appointment at least 30 calendar days after getting a tattoo for health and safety precautions and so your new tattoo, isn't unintentionally ruined.
Before the massage session there will be a brief consultation where the massage therapist will review your health history and ask questions. It's important to provide information about your current health as massage can impact body systems, like cardiovascular and nervous systems.
Inform the therapist about any prescription medications or herbal remedies you're currently taking. Massage therapy can have an impact, on the effectiveness of drugs like those for blood pressure. By knowing your history the therapist can determine if there are any reasons why you should avoid massage or specific techniques.
The massage therapist will ask you questions to create a treatment plan that suits your needs and goals within your session time. You can let them know which areas of your body you'd like them to focus on or if there are any areas you'd prefer them to avoid. If there are any techniques you prefer or wish to avoid it's best to communicate that before the appointment begins.
If you have concerns about undressing, rest assured that your therapist will leave the room while you prepare for the massage. Once ready, you'll lie face down on the massage table and fully cover yourself with provided linen. The therapist will knock before reentering, once they know you're ready to start. If, at any point during the session you feel uncomfortable please don't hesitate to discuss it with the therapist—they should be able to offer options.
All the information you provide is kept confidential.
DURING THE MASSAGE;
You will lie down on a massage table. Fully covered by provided linen. It's important to feel comfortable so let the therapist know if there's anything that doesn't feel right. If you're feeling cold, need additional coverage, or prefer that certain areas of your body aren't touched, don't enjoy the music playing or experience any discomfort, with the pressure or technique used during the massage please communicate it to your therapist. Remember that you are in control and can request modifications or even end the session at any time.
DRAPING: Licensed and professional massage therapist always respects your privacy. They will never expose your genitals, breasts or any other areas you consider private or personal. Only the specific area being worked on will be exposed. You can trust that you are in a environment where sexuality and explicitness have no place whatsoever. Under no circumstances will your therapist engage, in inappropriate touching.
Any form of jokes, innuendos, insinuations, solicitations or conversations of an explicit nature is strictly prohibited. This will result in an immediate termination of your session.
You will be responsible, for full payment regardless of the duration of your session whether its one minute, or you have one minute remaining. Any form of harassment is strictly prohibited. If such behavior occurs the local authorities will be contacted and charges will be filed against the offender.
Rest assured that your therapist will never engage in inappropriate touching or will they permit any form of inappropriate touching from you at any time. It is absolutely GUARANTEED that no one will disrespect you or intentionally make you uncomfortable in any way. If you ever feel uneasy during a session please inform your therapist immediately. They will pause the session, step out of the room to allow you to get dressed so that you can discuss the issue with management.
How to make the most out of your massage experience:
Try to remain as relaxed as possible, throughout the process.
Relaxation is key; try to let go of any thoughts that may distract you and focus on how each touch or technique feels.
Remember to breathe as it aids in relaxation. Sometimes people tend to hold their breath when sensitive areas are being massaged; however it's best to continue breathing through those moments.
